Purchase Alma del Sur Malbec

Alma del Sur Malbec pairs well with lamb and Osso Buco

Brambly and leafy on the nose and palate, with tight acidity and reedy, peppery flavors that suggest foresty raspberry. The finish is equally peppery, herbal and leafy, but overall it's not green or unappealing. A natural wine in that it's unoaked.

"Alma del Sur, which means "The Soul of the South," is epitomized in this wine. All grapes are from our own estates in Uco Valley, which lie at some of the highest altitudes in the province of Mendoza. The extreme altitude, stony soil and unique microclimate of Uco Valley produces wines with intense aromas, incredible concentration and a long, muscular finish with fine tannins and bright acidity." -Winemaker's Notes
