OPNC regulars will recognize this wine as one of the top values of any vintage. The wine is made by Adam Lee of Siduri and Novy, both top-shelf, culty-level California wineries. Adam buys Oregon fruit from great vineyards and finishes the wine down there. The results are always superb.

In this case, he is offering up a pinot packed with sweet red fruits, a round and supple texture, and highlights of pretty barrel toast, minerals and more. This is a polished wine with a high-class feel and flavor, and at just $21 per bottle, is a loss-leader for the winery. Their loss is our gain.
