The wine label is a tribute to Tagaris Winery’s longtime Vineyard Manager, Eliseo “Lee” Silva. Eliseo arrived in Washington State from Mexico at the age of 14—the second youngest of 20 children. Lee, through perseverance and diligence, has risen to become the Vineyard Manager for the Alice and Areté Vineyards of Tagaris Winery—over 300 acres of vineyards in the Wahluke Slope in Eastern Washington with the distinction of producing some of the most highly sought-after fruit in the state.

This wine is exploding with aromas of dark fruit, jammy, and blueberry on the nose. The winemaker does not over us oak the wine. Actually, he uses no oak with this wine. It is all just natural fruit flavors. It is such an easy wine to enjoy. It is sooo smooth and velvety.
